At 10 o'clock, the Grand Chapter, with several other Masonic bodies, under escort of the Boston Encampment of Knights Templars, marched to Pemberton Square, and subsequently joined in the procession, which proceeded through the principal streets of the city, and arrived at the Common about 5 P.M. after witnessing the letting on of the water, the operation of the fountain, and the various ceremonies connected therewith, the Grand Chapter returned to the Temple, where the members separated."

Grand Chapter opened.

  • A petition from former members of King Cyrus Chapter of Worcester to restore its charter was received and approved. An endorsement, the text of which appears on ChI-577, was directed to be affixed to its charter.
  • Finance.
