40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION, DECEMBER 1994

On Thursday. December 8. 1994, Garden City Lodge. A. F. & A. M. celebrated its 40th Anniversary. As part of the ceremony, it honored its surviving Charter Members with a special certificate and a small gift from the Lodge in appreciation of the Lodge's affection and love for it's founding members. Ten of the twenty-seven living Charter Members were in attendance to personally receive their certificates and gifts. Also honored were the Lodge's Twenty-five Year Members, who were presented their pins. R.W. Donald D. Lowell. D. D. G. M. of the Waltham 5th, who participated in one of his last Fraternal Visitations as D. D. G. M., was present for the celebration, along with many other distinguished guests, including M. W. J. Philip Berquist.

Charter Members present were: Bro. Saul M. Cortell, Bro. Allen Fair, Bro. Joseph Gann, Bro. Myron Idelson, Bro. Murray M. Klein, Bro Stanley M. Lewis, Wor. Leonard L. Matthews. Bro. Irving S. Meyers, Bro. Edward H. Shrier, Bro. Murray S. Slavet and Bro. Barnet C. Tobins.

Twenty-five Year Members present were: Wor. Robert H. Brown, Wor. Steven P. Fradkoff, Wor. Robert N. Goldstein, Bro. Melvin Michaels, Bro. Victor J. Resh and Bro. Frederick Sternburg.
