MASSACHUSETTS LODGES IN CONNECTICUT

Prior to 1789, Both Massachusetts Grand Lodges chartered many lodges in Connecticut. This page summarizes those lodges and their present disposition.

  • Chartered 03/21/1762; Gridley
  • Founding Lodge, Grand Lodge of Connecticut, as St. John's #4
  • Merged with Wyllys #99 to form Wyllys-St. John's #4, 12/21/1988.
• King Solomon's, Waterbury
  • Chartered 07/17/1765; Gridley

• Norwich
  • Chartered 10/24/1766; Gridley
  • No mention of this lodge after 1767
• Compass, Wallingford
