OLIVE BRANCH ARMY LODGE #9

In 1862, four additional dispensations were granted for lodges to be held with active-duty regiments during the American Civil War. Each dispensation was granted to a particular regiment. These dispensations expired at the end of 1865.

From Moore's Freemason's Monthly, Vol. XXII, No. 2, November 1862, Page 64:

The Grand Master of this State issued his Dispensation for the holding of a Lodge in the 42nd Regt. Mass. Volunteers, on the petition of Maj. F.G. Styles and others. We understand that there are rising forty Masons in this regiment, of whom a considerable number are from Morning Star Lodge, Worcester.
