BIOGRAPHY

From Missouri Lodge of Research:

Jimmie Lee was born November 29, 1936 in Springfield, Missouri. He attended Springfield Public Schools and graduated from Central Senior High School in 1955. From 1956-1962 he served in the U.S. Navy. On January 4, 1957 he married Jeri Ferrell of Rogersville, They have one son, Jeff and one daughter, Melissa and two grandsons, Jared and Jordan.

Brother Lee was raised a Master Mason in Henderson Lodge No 477, Rogersville, Mo on April 2, 1959 and served as Master in 1962 and 1963. He is a member of the York Rite Bodies and the Red Cross of Constantine in Springfield, The Scottish Rite, Valley of Joplin where he served as Commander of Joplin Knights Kadosh in 1996. He received the KCCH and the 33rd degree in 1995. He is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Missouri Lodge of Research where he served as Master. In February 2003, he was elected to a three year term on the Board of Directors of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, Alexandria VA.

He joined Abou Ben Adem Shrine in 1962 and joined the Shrine Clowns, He was appointed to the Divan in 1978 and served as Potentate in 1985. In 1988, he was elected Recorder and served until 2002. Jimmie served as an Imperial Chaplin of the Imperial Shrine. He is a member of the Royal Order of Jester's Court No 73.

Brother Lee completed a four-year term , 1991-95, on the Masonic Home Board where he served as Administration Committee Chairman and again as a member of the advancing Line presiding as President in 2001-2002.

Jimmie was appointed Senior Grand Marshal by Grand Master James H. Cobbin in 1995.

Grand Master Lee is a retired licensed Funeral Director and a past owner of the Silver Bell Mobile Home Park.
