BIOGRAPHY

From Missouri Lodge of Research:

Dan Cole was born in 1953 at Springfield, Missouri. He attended public schools in Gainsville, Sedalia and Branson, graduating from Branson High School in 1971. He received his B.S. Degree, Summa Cum Laude, in engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1975 and a Master's Degree in Engineering in 1976, also at Rolla. While in college he was a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and served as President of the Engineering Management Association.

Following graduation, Brother Cole began work with Union Electric in its Nuclear Program.He also worked in the company's Rate Engineering Group and was employed as a Supervising Engineer in Union Electric's Corporate Planning Group. Presently Brother Cole is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer for Ameren Corporation.

Brother Cole joined the Masonic Fraternity through Rolla Lodge No 213, in Rolla, Missouri. He transferred his membership to Jefferson Lodge No 43, Jefferson City, Missouri where he served as Master in 1981. He served on the Grand Lodge Committee on Public Relations, Long Range Planning and Youth. He served as DDGL of the 31st District and in 1983 was appointed to the Advancing Line by Grand Master Crede. He was member of the Board of Directors of the Masonic Home and served on the Administration Committee and well as Presdent of the Board.

Brother Cole has been active in the Order of DeMolay, serving as Master Councilor of Ozarks Chapter in Branson and State Master Councillor.

He is also a member of Moolah Shrine, the York Rite bodies, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Missouri Lodge of Research where he served as Master, the Allied Masonic Degrees and the Scottish Rite, Valley of St Louis where he served as Wise Master in 1988. He was coroneted a 33rd degree on November 13, 1993.

Most Worshipful Brother Cole and his wife Rhonda have two children, Phillip and Sarah.
