Kenneth William Sprague Jr. of Malden was installed the Senior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts in a ceremony at the fraternity’s Boston headquarters on Thursday, December 27, 2012. The Senior Grand Warden is the second highest ranking elected Mason in the state. He will serve for one year.

Raised in Malden, Sprague graduated from North Reading High School. Following high school he attended Northwood University, Midland, MI. He owns Ken Sprague Realty Group, Malden. Sprague and his wife, Kathy, have two adult sons.

Sprague received the Joseph Warren Medal for Distinguished Service in 2009. Named for the Patriot killed during the Battle of Bunker Hill, [http://masonicgenealogy.com/MediaWiki/index.php?title=GMJsWarren Warren] was the presiding Grand Master at the time of his death. The medal recognizes exceptional service at the lodge level. It is conferred by the Grand Master on the recommendation of the Lodge Master.

He belongs to the York Rite’s Royal Arch Chapter of the Tabernacle; Orient Council Royal and Select Master Masons; and, Beauseant-Palestine Commandery #10, all of Malden. He is also an Aleppo Shriner, Wilmington.

Kenneth William Sprague Jr. of Malden was installed the Senior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts in a ceremony at the fraternity’s Boston headquarters on Thursday, December 27, 2012.
