Dispensation issued September 8, 1919 to form Montana Army Lodge No.l (U.D.). The request was make by members of the Second Montana Infantry, 163 U.S. Infantry from Fort Harrison, Helena. The unit served in France from 1917 to 1919 the dispensation was surrendered to Grand Lodge in 1919.
