GEOGRAPHY

Elmoss and its area is very lightly forested, with open grassland mixed in. The ground rises sharply to the north toward Shaleburrow, and the woods are deeper toward Barkstone.

Sprucetuck and Copperwood are both within an area of deep old-growth forest. Dorigift and Gilpledge are on the edge of this area, but are still well concealed by trees.

The Scent Border winds through the forested area and shows considerable evidence of the war.
