of Free and Accepted Masons for
the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations
The Grand Lodge of Rhode Island was organized in June 1791 by two lodges, one in Providence and one in Newport. A short history of this Grand Lodge can be found on the Grand Lodge's web site.
