BIOGRAPHY

The Senior Grand Warden for 2010 is Rt. Wor. Paul R. Perkins. Bro. Perkins was raised in 1985 and is a member of Wyoming Lodge, Melrose where he served as Master in 1992-1993 and still serves as Treasurer. He is the recipient of the Joseph Warren Distinguished Service Medal. Bro. Perkins is also affiliated with The Demolay Lodge, Boston; Wellesley Lodge, Needham; and Golden Rule Lodge, Wakefield. Previous Grand Lodge appointments include Grand Sword Bearer 1999-2001 and District Deputy Grand Master for the 4th Masonic District 2004-2005.

The Senior Grand Warden is active in several other Masonic organizations including the Valley of Boston's Lafayette Lodge of Perfection, Giles F. Yates Council, Princes of Jerusalem; Mt. Olivet Chapter of Rose Croix, and as Master of Ceremonies for Massachusetts Consistory; Aleppo Temple A. A. O. N. M. S.; Waverly Royal Arch Chapter, Melrose Council, and St. Bernard Commandery No. 12. He has been extremely active in Melrose Chapter of DeMolay since 1977 and has served in numerous state wide DeMolay positions. He also belongs to Wakefield Assembly No. 43 I.O.R.G., where he is an advisory board member. He is a member of Eastern Star's Tontoquon Chapter No. 100.

Brother Perkins is a member of the First Parish Congregational Church of Wakefield where he served as chairman of the board of Diaconate and is a past member of the board of trustees. He is currently a member of the board of directors for the Congregational Retirement Homes of Melrose. He resides in Wakefield with his wife, Tracy, and daughters Amanda and Bailey.
