BIOGRAPHY
Brother David Wilson was born at Gettysburg Pa., September 26, 1853. Wilson's father was a Presbyterian minister who resided at times in Potosi, Jefferson City, Ironton, St Charles and finally Milan. Wilson was educated in the public schools and in 1875 received the degree of A.B.. followed by the degree of A.M. in 1878. He was admitted to the bar in 1881 and engaged in the practice of law. He became county school administrator in 1883 and served as prosecuting attorney in 1884, 1886 and 1888.
Seaman Lodge No 126, Milan, Mo., conferred the degrees of Freemasonry in the year 1876. Early the following year he affiliated with Good Samaritan Lodge in Gettysburg Pa., serving as Master.
